This explains what CalendarLift does with personal data. It covers two different relationships, because they genuinely are different.
When a business uses CalendarLift
The business decides what customer information it collects and why. CalendarLift stores and processes that information on its behalf. The business remains responsible for it, including for answering its own customers’ requests about it.
When you book with a business
If you booked an appointment through a CalendarLift booking page, your details were given to that business, not to us. Contact the business directly to see, correct or delete what it holds. The booking link you were sent lets you change your own contact details and manage your appointment.
What we collect about a business account
- The names and email addresses of people who sign in.
- The business’s own details — name, locations, opening hours, services.
- Records of important changes: who did what, and when.
- Technical logs needed to keep the service running and diagnose faults.
Separation between businesses
Each business’s records belong to that business. Access is enforced on the server rather than by hiding things in the interface, and one business cannot read another’s data.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe through the business’s own connected Stripe account. Card details are never sent to or stored by CalendarLift. Stripe processes that information under its own terms.
Appointment confirmations, reminders and quotes are sent by email through a delivery provider on the business’s behalf. We record whether a message was delivered so a business can see when one did not arrive.
Getting your data out
A business can export its customer list from within the product at any time, without asking us.
